Arnotts rooftop rink is built with the world's best synthetic ice technology called Xtraice. As seen in Disneyland Paris, Xtraice is safer and easier to skate and has 62 times less carbon emissions than conventional ice making it perfect for young families and less experienced skaters. Shop to your hearts content and then glide under the stars with a backdrop of Christmas lights. The venue includes Santa visits, hot chocolate in Alpine lodges and a wine bar from December, the perfect destination for groups of friends and Christmas parties!
The RDS is Ireland's largest real ice skating experience, making it even easier for people to get their skates. 7UP Christmas on Ice at RDS Dublin offers all the fun of real ice skating on a spectacular covered rink. The perfect destination for experienced skaters, RDS has a unique Christmas atmosphere, festive fun and striking design.
This year's skating schedule runs from 12th November until 23rd January in Arnotts and from 3rd December until 9th January in the RDS.
Some of the exciting themed events this year will include School Skate, Decks on Ice every Tuesday night in Arnotts from 7.30pm - 9.30pm where you can Join our dynamic DJ and skate the night away to the very best in Pop, Hip Hop, R'n'B; Skate Date under the stars, ice dancing displays, Silent Disco on Ice and even an alpine ski village for some après skate fun!
The ice rinks will be open daily, closing only on Christmas Day. There will be nine hourly skating sessions daily, the Arnotts rink will be open from 9.30am to 8.30pm and the RDS rink will be open from 10.30am to 9.30pm. There will be live ice skating performances in the Arnotts Henry Street window throughout November and December, from Monday, 8th November. Group discounts and special offers are available for companies and social clubs that purchase tickets in volume. Special customised tickets and free rink-side company signage can also be organised.

Just back from it. Complete waste of money. Supposedly 'skating' more like walking around on plastic, wasnt much fun, left after 3 laps of the rink.
