Now in its 10th year, the weekend of nut swinging is now called ConkerFest 2009

Events include:

Child, Adult and Team Conker Competitions
Kids games
Pony rides etc
Country Markets
Hot food and beverages
Festival of Floral Art themed Visual Poetry staged by Kilkenny Flower Club
Art exhibition
International Accordion Players
Performances and workshops
Ceili bands and lots more!!

Events begin on Fri 23^rdOct and culminate in the Conker Competitions on Sun 25^th Oct from12.30pm
in Freshford, Co Kilkenny. This nut cracking event is fun for all the family and proceeds go to local charitable causes
