Trick or Treat?

Remember the days when you were hard pushed even to get a pumpkin? Here at Dayout.ie we're old enough to remember but young enough to remember vaguely!!

Now it seems you can't go anywhere without walking into a custom Halloween Store - it's become as popular as Christmas! If you're travelling North on the M1 motorway anytime soon, take some time out to visit the following good Halloween stores.

Jones
Located just past the Airport - take the Swords/Donabate exit. You're actually looking for Jones Garden Centre but at Halloween and Christmas, part of their centre is transfored into a seasonal store crammed packed full of goodies & gifts.

2wo Seasons
Further North just as you approach Drogheda, there are a couple of retail parks with easy access from the M1 motorway. Located in the park past the Drogehda Bridge, (pass through toll booth €1.80), you come across the 2wo Seasons store which is one of the best that's around. It's quite a large store and while visiting there today, we noticed that one third of the store is dedicated to Halloween, while the remainder is being prepped for Christmas. There's a great range with all sorts of furniture, decorations, costumes, unique Halloween toys and lots more.

Choice Homestore
In the same retail park, there's a smaller Halloween section in the Choice Homestore. There's some good bargains and some fairly unique Halloween gadgets like the full life size butler with a skull on a tray. It caught my eye today - he shakes/trembles as well which attracted many onlookers - very unique and no doubt would make a great talking piece as a drinks stand at your Halloween party.
