Leenane Development Association is pleased to announce that plans are in full swing for the third and even better Leenane Mountain Walking Festival! Enjoy a unique combination of mountain and sea as Leenane is situated on the edge of Killary Harbour and surrounded by mountains in all directions.We have a guided walk to suit all abilities from low level to strenuous including Mweelrea - the highest mountain in Connaught!
There is also lots of entertainment for the weekend including a sailing race, Ceili, BBQ, climbing wall and half price tickets on Killary Cruise boat.
