It’s two years since Aslan played Thurles, and their sold out gig is still talked about.
So book early to catch this amazing band with their charismatic lead singer, Christy Dignam. Formed in 1982, the band are currently making plans to celebrate their 30 year anniversary. And they are as busy as ever, with a new album to be released in September 2011 and filming underway for a documentary on their years together, which is being made by Billy Magra (director of Completely Pogued).
The band are also heading to Australia this Autumn for a 9 date tour which will see them playing in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Canberra.
Their Irish tour will finish up in Vicar Street – but what better than to catch them in the intimate setting of The Source.
