Rose Cottage is a traditional thatches cottage approximately 200 years old, it boasts stunning views over trabreaga bay and has it’s own private track down to the bay. The School is a family run business run by Katie McDermott who has over 26 years experience in teaching, dressage and jumping. Daughters Sam and Ash play a huge part in the friendly professional service at Rose Cottage and Sam is currently training to be an instructor. Rose Cottage has currently over 30 horses, ponies and young stock, it also has 4 donkeys. Ponies and horses range from 11 hands to 17 hands. Children are taken from 4 years, group and private lessons are available with a maximum of 6 per group. Nervous riders are a speciality and are very welcome at rose Cottage, all school ponies and horses are experienced and well behaved to ensure an enjoyable start in learning to ride.
