Viking Dublin and Medieval Dublin take the visitor back to life in the old city; highlights include a trip to a Viking house and a chance to learn the myths and mysteries of the Vikings, while the Medieval Dublin exhibition includes a busy market, a rich merchant’s house as well as finding out all about death and disease!

History Hunters brings our exhibitions full circle and shows the visitor how we know about Dublin's past. Magnificent artefacts are on display, including the skeleton of a medieval woman with tooth problems. Discover the Lab and test your knowledge in the Time Detectives. See Dublin from a new perspective and come away knowing more about its citizens throughout the ages!

Storytelling - Listen to the saga of the evil Viking dwarves, Fjalar and Galar, in the Viking house
Face Painting
Get ready for the night ahead and have your face painted! Look like you have the plague and have your face covered in boils, or look like you've paid a trip to the barber surgeon!
Tuesday the 1st of November
Curator's Creepy Tour at 2.30pm! Learn all about death and disease in medieval times and the bones and bodies left behind and discovered by Archaeologists.
The Education Room will be open for families to draw their gruesome drawings!!
