Lough Gur storytelling festival has been firmly established as one of the finest storytelling festivals in the country. Currently in its 14th year it features many art forms, including storytelling, drama and music.Lough Gur 14th annual storytelling festival features all that is best in festivals. The emphasis is very much on telling stories through different mediums - whether through song, dance, theatre, drama or storytelling. There is a primary school storytelling festival which aims to foster the tradition of storytelling amongst the younger audience.
