The only artificial or dry ski slope facility in the Republic of Ireland.We offer classes for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities from beginners to advanced. The slopes are available for practice to competent skiers and snowboarders. Learning to ski in Kilternan saves valuable time for those going on their first ski holiday. During the the regular season (September to April) we offer two different types classes for children, Kindergarten and Regular Children's Classes. The Kindergarten fun packed ski lessons are for children aged between 4 and 7 years of age. For children aged 7 and over we offer lessons that last 1.5 hours. Emphasis of the classes is on safety, fun and learning. Our Schools Programme operates from Monday to Friday between 10.30am and 6.00pm during the Ski Club season (September to April). To-date some 24 schools have signed up to the programme, and the numbers are growing.We have an advanced Children's Clinic, for children aged between 8 & 14 years of age. The clinic will develop the participants skiing skills and is intended as a precursor to race training. Participants should be comfortable skiing from the green matting on the main slope.We can accommodate a group of work colleagues or friends to participate in the enjoyable pastime of skiing or snowboarding on one of the longest artificial ski slopes in Europe. Regardless of gender, age or fitness learning to ski and snowboard is an activity that everyone can enjoy and have plenty of fun and good times as they participate in a new sport.
