Originally opened to pay tribute to the unique Irish horse breeds the museum has now expanded and now encompasses the history of rural Ireland as well as exhibiting the forerunners of our modern motor cars. Filled with exhibits that will fascinate visitors of every age. Colourful graphic panels display information about the evolution of the Irish horse, its use through history and how the different horse breeds developed. There are exhibits of historic farm machinery and carriages which will give visitors an insight into the vital role played by the Irish horse throughout history.
