I have recently taken a one hour boat trip on the rose of innisfree and I was very disappointed. I thought it very poor value for money, it cost 15 euro per person and for that you basically get a spin from Parkes castle over to the centre of the lake and back. The boat was poorly maintained and smelly. I brought my girlfriend and her mother who are from Brazil and being from the locality myself it was an an embarassment .Parkes castle well worth a visit and great value but go elsewhere after that and save your money for the worthwhile attractions in Sligo and Leitrim.
