Puddenhill Activity Centre
Pudden hill is a place to bring the whole family. The play centre caters for kids 0-10 years. They have a Halloween Party every year which coninsides with their Birthday and Santa comes to visit in their grotto every year along with his reindeers. For the older kids there is an array of activities to keep them entertained. Go karting for 10 years of age and upwards including adults. Archery for 7 years of age and upwards includig adults. Paintball from 16 years of age including adults. Arcade games, pool tables and much more. If the Adults of the family dont want to try out the activities they can relax in the bar or the restaurant.
My 7 year old boy had a fantastic time at Puddenhill visiting Santa and the animals we fed the raindear and played in the playcentre he was so thrilled with the whole day just brilliant!!! Dont miss this one :-)2011
Car Parking - Ample, with pleasant views of the Meath countryside. Bar & Food - Appears to be well catered for. Nice to sit outside with a drink and take in the view. Grass areas for children to run around and play. Pet Farm - Disappointing. Appears not to be well maintained. Open areas into sheds that are not part of viewing area?. Outhouses that appear to be in a state of construction, with building rubble etc. scattered around. Horses, donkeys, goats, rabbits, emus on view. You’ll see it all in 5 minutes. We did get to meet and pet a beautiful fawn deer which was a highlight. Duck Pond - Not very appealing, overgrown and obscuring views of birds. Pool not aesthetically pleasing. Play Area - Plenty of climbing frames etc on offer for kids of all ages. €3 per half hour. Some seating for adults to sit close by, however majority of adults tend to guide children on the smaller play areas – like anywhere it can get quite busy. Overall - DayOut team visited with children/family and were only interested in the Pet Farm which was disappointing and the Play Centre which was Good. Group activities like Karting and Paintball appear to be well catered for and ideal for corporate groups, outings with friends etc. If you are travelling any distance to Puddenhill, try to fit in a number of activities.
