Monaghan County Museum is located in hill street at premises which have undergone extensive renovation in recent years. The museum was founded in 1974 with the goal to promote the cultural diversity and celebrate the historical richness of Monaghan. Visitors can enjoy displays and exhibits on local and community interests including in 1980.
