Athlone Golf Club is an 18 hole parkland golf course in Roscommon set in a picturesque midland location on the bank of Lough Ree.. Founded in 1892 and giving claim to being one of the longest established golf clubs in Ireland. Beautiful surroundings with tree lined fairways and wooded islands. Holder of a number of provincial and national Championships, the club has grown in popularity since 1998 when it held the prestigious All-Ireland Cups and Shields Finals in 1998.
