The Battle of Aughrim Visitor Centre is situated in Aughrim Village on the Dublin - Galway road (N6) and is 6km west of Ballinasloe and 60km east of Galway City. Visitors can delve into Irish history and discover the origin of the Twelfth of July and the roots of Ireland's turbulent history at this award-winning centre. The Battle of Aughrim was the final battle of the War of the Two kings James II and William of Orange.
