Springhill House is described as one of the prettiest houses in Ulster. Surely a finer complement cannot be paid to this elegant building.Essentially a family home, this building is filled with beautiful paintings, furniture and various decorative arts that tell the tale of the numerous generations of the Lenox-Conynghams who resided there from 1680. Amongst the attractions available to visitors is the Old Laundry house and the Costume Collection, which comprises of some exceptional pieces from the 18th century and dating right up until the 1970's.Our 'Living History' tours bring visitors through ten generations of family histories related to the house. If you have an interest in the paranormal, Springhill is also home to Ireland's best-documented ghost, and if all that's not enough, you can also take in the scenic walled gardens and our waymarked paths through the parklands, whilst the kids can enjoy our children's adventure trail play park.Additional visitor facilities include a shop, refreshments, caravan site, areas suitable for picnics and a regular programme of events. The house is also whellechair accessible and is available for functions.
