You can start off with a Trial Flying Lesson for yourself or even as a gift for a friend. Lessons last around an hour and include a demonstration from and instructor flying in an ultra light aircraft where you will get to take the controls and practice a few manoeuvres yourself.

If that gets you hooked, you could join the Ultraflight Training Club which aims to promote recreational flying at an affordable cost with state of the art micro light aircraft. The club has it’s own aircraft, clubhouse, hangar and services and is a self-contained training and flying facility. Here you can train for your Private Pilots Licence in modern aircraft with fully qualified instructors, ground school and a clubhouse that has a flight simulator.
