Sligo Aeronautical Club is the present club which followed the original Sligo North West Aero Club which was formed in 1975 with an airfield at Annaghmore near Colloney, Co. Sligo. Sligo Aero Club aim to promote flight training and to provide suitable aircraft for members holding a pilot's license. They are a Registered Training Facility under the new European Joint Aviation Requirements (JAR). Flight Training (Fixed Wing.
