Newbridge House and Farm is multi faceted and ever changing. From the gently undulating wild flower meadows of the Park to the stately grandeur of the Georgian Mansion, Newbridge Demesne truely is an experience for all ages and in all seasons. Families adore the 18th century working Farm and state of the art Adventure Playground, rounding off their visit with homemade treats in the Courtyard Tearooms. Enter the Farm via its 18th century cobbled courtyard and visit a vast array of animals ranging from the Shetland and Connemara ponies of the paddock, to the piglets, goats and baby chicks of the farmyard. We have over 100,000 visitors every ye ar and the Farm is very popular with families. We are one of the few working farms where children can see pigs, and many other animals, reared in an environment where they can move about freely and express normal patterns of behaviour. We are very committed to the highest standards of animal welfare and to the preservation of many Irish and indeed rare breeds.

There is nothing better on a warm, sunny day than bringing the little ones to the farm at Newbridge House. We went this morning to check out the Easter Eggcitement and if you are expecting the standard easter egg hunt, you are wrong! They give you list of questions at the entrance when you pay (which is great value BTW). On sight, the questions are easy enough but they encourage the children to run from sign to sign looking for answers whilst educating them in all things nature. the little ones will need mammy & daddy's help but all are rewarded with a goody bag at the end. Also, it doesn't matter if you have missed one or two, which will most likely happen if your 4 year old happens to be navigating but you will not be denied the goodies at the end so don't worry!! Overall we had a great time, brought a picnic and a football and enjoyed what will hopefully be the start of a great outdoor summer this year!!
Newbridge House is a fantastic day out. The playground is very big and there's something for all ages. The picnic area is second to none - you can even bring your bbq and there's somewhere to safely dispose of the ashes. The large pet farm was very reasonable and a big hit with my 8 and 6 year olds.
Newbridge Demesne is such a lovely place to visit. I had never been there and its a great day out for both children and adults.
Great place to visit, enjoyable for kids of all ages. Aswell as farm, the grounds are a great way of passing time with a big playground and picnic area.
