Family owned brewery founded in 1996 by the O’Hara family and now located in Bagenalstown, Carlow. Specialising in stout, ales and beer, the brewery gained International recognition in 2000 when its stout won 2 gold medals at the International Brewing Awards. Tours are available at the brewery, where visitors can taste the special malts used to brew O’Hara’s beers and also smell the hops and of course sample a range of beers.
