Our boat trip brings you to the Mouth of the River Shannon, Ireland's longest river, to watch wild bottlenose dolphins. Your skipper Geoff Magee, has 30 year experience both commercial fishing and dolphin watching, and he provides a lively and fascinating commentary during the trip. The dolphins are watched with care and respect and usually approach the boat of their own accord. The calves, especially, can be very curious and playful. Our passenger boat, Draiocht, offers you comfort and safety and allows for superb viewing. Our hydrophone (underwater microphone) lets you listen to dolphins sounds, when conditions allow.
