The Orchard Pottery is based in Castleconnell Co. Limerick and produces an original range of high-quality giftware, hand-thrown and decorated by Richard Ferris. The first Limerick Potteries project was conceived in a Venetian Glassworks in 1963. At a time when most Irish gifts were imported, Richard Ferris watched the Venetians at work and a dream was born. Why shouldn't Ireland have a range of gifts that reflected the beauty, culture and heritage of Ireland?.
