Opened in Limerick city by husband and wife team, Peter Davern and Enda Bell in 2002, it is home to the very best in contemporary Irish craft and art. We believe hand-made works are the new luxury in a world of over-designed mass production. We stock the innovative and imaginative work of Ireland's foremost craftspeople, designers and artists. The inspiring works of ceramic artists Sara Flynn, Thomas Wollen, Mandy Parslow, Shelagh Flannery, Alan Boyle and many more can be enjoyed at davern & bell, along with the works of such talented painters as Clare Hartigan, Teresa O'Gara and Hilary Nunan. Also displayed are original works from artists using a variety of different medium; Glenn Lucan (wood), Jerpoint (glass), Lynn Kenny (mixed), Helen Stringer (textiles) along with contemporary jewellery crafted from gold, silver, pearl, glass, and porcelain. We stock our own unique line of jewellery, designed by owner Enda Bell. Our unique blend of jewellery, ceramics, wood, glass, and textiles has been created and finished to the very highest standards.
