  • Myself and my 3 year old spend a great weekend in Greenlands Camp site which is immaculately maintained with the cleanest facilitys I have ever encountered. The site is only a short walk from two of the nicest child friendly beaches i have encountered. most irish beaches leave you feeling like you have just been mugged from a combination of rip tides and crashing waves but Rosses Popint are calm, sandy and perfect for a leasurely swim. The village itself is refreshingly free of the usual sea side arcades and tacky shops selling buckets, spades and balls. i reccomend Austies for grub. best rare steak i've had in a long time!

  • Fine campsite overlooking Sligo Bay and right onthe beach on Rosses Point. Facilities are good, and the site is family friendly with lots of space for the kids, including a playground that kept them going til dark. WE've been there when the wather is good, and is quite exposed I'd say to a cold westerly wind. Lots of pitching space, as well as caravan points also. Bars and restaurants nearby, but bring your provisions befoer you get there as there in only one small shop in the village, and no ATM
