Longford Slashers is a GAA club located in Longford town. The club was formed in 1954 when Longford Wanderers and Shroid Slashers amalgamated. Our ground, Michael Fay Park, is located on the outskirts of Longford town in an area called Farneyhoogan. In 1980 we moved to this location and since then our facilities are second to none. We currently have three playing fields, two of which have floodlights. Our clubhouse contains a bar, function room, meeting rooms, squash courts and several dressing rooms.
