The museum is housed in the historic landmark Armoury Building, previously the home of Ireland’s bullion and arms stores.

One of Dublin's favourite visitor attractions, the National Wax Museum Plus offers a tour experience like no other. Visitors can experience several interactive exhibitions across a 13,000sq feet, four floor exhibition.

Well known personalities can also be spotted, say hello to Ireland's best known and longest serving TV Presenter, Mr Gay Byrne. Introduce the younger generation to Irish Football coach Jack Charlton - remember those glory days!! Stand next to President Mary Robinso. Enjoy audio visual introduction to characters and share the greatest moments n the lifes of these Irish personalities.

The Time Vaults of history is a superb walk through Irish history. No visit to the Wax Museum would be complete without the exploratory journey of how we got here! Historical icons like Setanta & Wolfhound, the Vikings, see examples of famine life, artefacts from 1916 and also political figues of the time who helped eastblish the Republic.

The Grand Hall pays homage to the greats of the Irish music and movie 'scene'. For many, there's no introduction needed for personalities like Phil Lynott, U2 and Liam Neeson.

Record in Wax is a sound studio experience which features equipment from Dublin's Sound Training Centre, Temple Lane Studios and the world famous Grouse Lodge recording studio. Visitors get the chance to use equipment previously used by rock and pop legends such as REM, Snow Patrol and The Blizzards.

Chamber of Horror, no wax museum tour would be complete without it and no better location than down in the dungeon! Only if you're brave enough, seek out characters that are sure make you go pimply goose, in dark corners catch a glimpse of Buffalo Bill, Hannibal Lector or even Dracula. Hopefully you'll get out of there in one piece!
