Kia-Ora Mini Farm
Kia-Ora Mini Farm is on open farm where children get to interact with, as well as hold and feed farmyard animals. There are also some exotic animals such as llamas, emus, alpacas, pot bellied pigs, chinchillas. parrots, scottish highland, kerry cows etc.
Kia-Ora farm is a safe place for children to roam and learn about the animals and for adults to relax. We have an onsite coffee shop with mouth watering homebaking. Picnics are also welcome and we have ample outdoor seating for those fine summer days.
Fully wheelchair accessible, with cement paths, toilets, baby changing facilities and we offer free carparking in our large carpark. Some of our facilities include sandpits, a football pitch, a rough rider track and we have a convoy of ride on tractors.
In 2008 Kia Ora farm bought 2 genuine fire engines from the local Co. Council and one has been customised to take visitors on drives along a private road on the farm. The Fire Engine is fun for all the family with sing along tunes and one of the top things to do in Wexford. in 2010, Kia Ora purchased their third fire engine!!!
A great experience for the kids, why not visit and then come bac and comment on the DayOut web site.

Christmas Cracker - I vote for kia ora because we met the real Santa here, he knew all about us and gave really good presents. We were allowed to take video and as many photos as we liked which was great. They do a great job all year round
Christmas Cracker - love love love Kia Ora at Christmas - the smell of mulled wine and cake and all the lights, the lovely decorations and Santa is so nice. We go on the 23rd to see Joseph and Mary arrive with the donkey every year. def recommend

Fantastic place for families with children! There's a lot to keep children entertained for hours!!
hey guys ,we love your farm been there 1st time was two days before i gave birth to my son he four now ,and we have been there at least twice a year since,we have sat on the fire engine singing songs, played on your new climbing frame ,had picnics ,but most of all is your xmas ,you make it so magicul, but your staff must be thanked ,the work behind the scences must be hard ,but you all have a smile time and time again .love you all .see you xmas .xx
Couldn't recommend this farm more highly and we have been to many but this is by far the best. The staff are so friendly and it was no bother to them when my kids wanted to hold a black rabbit, then a brown one etc... lol! the new maze kept them entertained for hours and my daughter loved the milking cow but my sons favourite bit was the fire engine ride, will be back to Wexford and Kia Ora very soon
when I ask the kids were they want to go they always say Kia Ora. The fire engine was bumpy but it was more fun that way and the fact that they didn't charge us for it or bump up the entry price was great and also the new maze was a huge hit. There were no puppies there when we visited in October either but I suppose puppies grow up and move on..... My kids love the puppies so hope they are there when we visit in March with lots of other spring babies, can't wait!!
Our favourite family day out is at Kia ora farm in Gorey and we book a weekend here every summer just so we can visit as we live too far away for day visits unfortunately. They add something new to the farm every year and its the cleanest one we have been to. Its great value for money as we always bring a big picnic and stay for the day when we go and just get a cup of tea or coffee in the shop. There is something for kids of all ages and I hear the new maze is fab so we can't wait to try it next time we visit
We went there today (Easter Sunday) and were delighted. Our toddler was in his element. The Easter Bunny gave every child a little bag with mini eggs in it. There was a puppet show on too. The staff were so helpful, offering the kids to pet and feed the animals. There are dozens of toys around the place for the kids to play with and the little man loved it, running from one tractor to the next. He loved the fire engine. I found it hard to get information online about prices but it was 7 euro per person, adult or child. We are definitely going back. We also thought it would be good on a wet day as there were a lot of covered areas. Great day out, our little fellow was just in his element. We didn't use the coffee shop but it looked good and big, room for buggies and child friendly.
Our favourite family haunt, we love the fire engine ride and they had lots of small animals to hold and cuddle. We bought a rabbit and he is very much a part of the family now and the guy gave us lots of advice on how to look after it. The Macaw is gorgeous and so friendly
Really love this farm and keep going back, there is something new every year and the pot bellied pigs are our favourite
We just loved our day at Kia Ora, staff were really helpful and brought us around to feed all the animals and bottle feed the lamb. There was a new milking cow which was great fun and we really enjoyed the fire engine, the bumps made it all the better. We brought a picnic and were very lucky with the good weather.
quite expensive and not a lot to see fire engine ride is crap and very bumpy didn't even turn on siren no puppies as stated in advert. the so called guide that brought us around was not very friendly and didn't tell use one thing about any of the animals. and the tractors are two old tractors with flat tiers
Spent a week in Wexford in June and we visited Kia Ora Mini Farm 3 times as we could relax and let the children wear themselves out while we had a coffee and chat and they just loved it. Would definitely recommend as a safe place and the fire engine ride is a great pleasure. The music choice on it was excellent and we all sang along
My son really loved the new fire engine ride at Kia-Ora last weekend. We brought a picnic and stayed for the whole day - staff are friendly and the children had a great time
Kia-Ora is a safe happy place for children and adults and we had a fantastic weekend there. Lots of animals to see and a fab new fire engine ride at no extra cost. My son was just over the moon. The home made cakes and scones are mouth watering in the coffee shop - a must eat!!! We can't wait to get back down another weekend to see if the little chicks have hatched out in the incubator.
