Wines Direct, is a wine importer and distributor based in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. Our business is the sourcing, importing and distributing of a large range of quality wines from all across the globe. All of our wines are handpicked from small, highly quality orientated family run operations and are exclusive to ourselves. We aim to guide and educate our customers about wine at large in a fun and informative manner and also arrange regular wine tastings and wine appreciation courses for all to enjoy, from the wine novice to the wine enthusiast.
A wine lovers paradise!! I dropped in for the first time about 2 weeks ago on a Saturday. The range of wines is simply huge. Whereas you won't find big supermarket brands that are instantly recognisable, you do find an incredible selection of wines that have be very carefully selected from small producers that produce smaller amounts of wine but of really high quality. What's more is the staff i dealt with really know each wine and are very knowledgable and I was able to taste 6 different wines with no obligation. A really good experience and I shall definitely be returning.
