The Peacock is dedicated primarily to the presentation of new plays and contemporary classic drama. Recent productions include The Brothers Size by Tarell Alvin McCraney, Big Love by Charles Mee, Delirium by Enda Walsh, Lay Me Down Softly by Billy Roche and La Dispute by Pierre Marivaux. The Peacock Theatre is situated under the Abbey foyer. Seating capacity is 127 and can be used with a traditional seating arrangement or can be formed into a 20 X 20 feet central playing area, surrounded on three sides by seating.
