Rathgall is a multicallate hillfort, set on the edge of a ridge with four concentric stone walls and extensive panoramic views. Iti is an imposing monument covering a total area of 18 scres. Excavations started in 1969, revealing impostant evident for Late Bronze Age activity, dating to around 800BC
