In 1988 Tom & Elizabeth Malone purchased two acres of land to provide employment for their teenage family. Following the advice and support of the local Teagasc Office it was decided to grow strawberries on the two acres to supply the jam factory in Bunclody and locality with fresh strawberries. The farm has now grown in size to twelve acres and providing a wide variety of soft fruit to the general public, hotel & restaurant trade.
Got a large bag of blueberries and asked for them to be frozen for my freezer very happy with produce largest blueberries i've seen in a long time very impressed.
