St Mary’s Church was built in 1811 on the site of the nave of the 13th Century Parish Church. There are three aisles, North, South and centre of the nave. A high ceiling supported by massive beams, forms a pattern of rectangles. The Gallery is in three connected parts. The northern and southern parts run nearly the whole length of the building. The western part is the Choir or organ loft.
