Oak Park Forest Park is a large outdoor forest park in the Carlow countryside. The park is very popular as a walking destination, for educational visits or just for a relaxing day out with the family. Colour codes walkways, all wheelchair accessible, take visitors on a variety of routes through the park along the lake path (800mtrs) or the more adventurous Sally Island Trail (1700mtrs). The park also features a picnic area, informal leisure areas and seating at regular intervals.
