School or group, trips, retreats, and field trips can be arranged with a range of activities from the selection below. Day visits are welcomed for relaxartion, walking, or to attend any of our drop in workshops (listed below). The Boghill centre nestles in 50 acres of rough wetland at the foot of the Burren. The unique setting of the centre, originally a donkey sanctuary, guarantees tranquillity, whilst offering a variety of activities in the immediate surroundings. The Burren with its unique limestone landscape and rare wild flowers, the beautiful coast with a selection of quaysides, beaches and the stunning cliffs of Moher. Indoor activities are held in our beautiful octagon shaped hall, with 180 degrees of south facing glass wall offering views across the Boghill land to the Stone circle, generating a feeling of being outside inside. Check our website for current activities on offer - Our drop in workshops include: Traditional Irish Music, Easy Peasy Whistle, Ceramics / pottery, Sustainable building techniques, Vegetarian cookery, Herblore, Organic Gardening, a variety of holistic and creative workshops, dance, yoga, taichi and meditation - all of which can either be attended on a drop-in daily basis, or as full board residential retreats. Other activities year round which are held as weeklong or weekend full board retreats (no drop in availability) include Tribal Druming, Singing, Five Rhythums dance, Sweat lodges, Yoga teacher training, Environmental education, Ecological Surveying, Womens retreats, Imagework, Painting, and many more. The venue is also available for hire.
