Dublin SPCA
The Dublin Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a registered charity, established in 1840 to prevent cruelty to animals and is now Ireland's largest animal welfare organisation. In our shelter in Rathfarnham we house many animals looking for new homes - cats, dogs, hampsters, goats, budgies, pigs, ducks, horses and many more. We welcome you to come and have a look around at the animals in our care nestled in the picturesque setting of the Dublin mountains, relax and have a drink and cookie in our Central Bark Cafe. Entry is free and you can take as long as you would like wandering around.
