Zipit take you into the tree canopy located in the heart of the beautiful 350 hectare Lough Key Forest Park and experience the excitement of flying along zip lines, swinging through trees and feeling an immense sense of achievement.
Zipit is Ireland's first high-wire aerial forest adventure.We built platforms on trees at various heights (ranging from 1 metre to 20 metres off the ground) connected with a range of activities to allow the participant move from one tree to another. You are fitted with a harness to ensure your safety and our qualified instructors take you round a short initiation course to explain the features of the course and equipment (and to make sure you know what you're doing).
There are four different circuits, with each circuit getting a little bit more challenging than the previous one but you probably won't even notice this as you move along, activity by activity. There are over 60 activities in total with about 750 metres of Zip lines so be prepared for 3 - 4 hours of adrenaline-fuelled fun as each activity builds your confidence. Climb high into the tree canopy and swing into cargo nets, surf with a difference or even try cycling over a tree top bridge and zip down one of our many zip lines. And for those who claim to be fearless, there is always the base jump....
We cater for all sorts of groups from 1 - 100. School tours, clubs, scout groups, hens/stags and family gatherings. Why not make a day of it, there are plenty of open areas to picnic or barbecue, hot food also available in the lakeside cafe. And if mum and dad don't want to participate, they can watch from the ground.
