Bee For Battens / The Saoirse Foundation
As parents ourselves, we were moved by Tony and Mary Heffernan's appearance on the Late Late Show on 2nd September. They had lost their daughter Saoirse to Battens Disease. Battens Disease is a rare neuro-degenerative condition that affects babies, young children and juveniles. It is always fatal.

The Jack & Jill Foundation provides care and support for children with severe neurological development issues, as well as offering some respite to the parents and families.
